My cousin Lisa sent this picture of Jon and Frances’ trip to the Secret Service Christmas Party at the White House.

Frances got to go because Lisa had just given birth to Louise a few days earlier. Apparently she was the life the party, especially as the youngest guest there.

Lisa commented on this picture saying she wasn’t sure why Frances was being so serious – maybe she was intimidated by Michelle Obama’s size! Jon is not a small guy, but Michelle makes him look small! Jon’s brother replied to the email saying that he thought Frances was doing her best George Washington impression. haha!

I’m the first to admit that I’m no Obama fan, but this is a very cool experience for Frances – even though she won’t remember it!
