.frances and louise visit WA.
We got to spend the afternoon with Lisa, Frances, Louise, and the rest of the Heider crew today! The girls are growing so much and every time we get to see them, they have new tricks to show us!
Frances got pretty snuggly with Uncle Kev for a while – so cute!
Melissa got a new iMac, so she took it to Doug and Vicky’s so that Craig could help her figure it out. It didn’t take long for Photo Booth to come out and play!
Warning: Some of these are SCARY looking!

.at the lake with family.
Last week, my Grandma and her brother Larry (who is visiting from California) came to the Lake. One day while they were there, my cousins Lisa and Craig came up with Frances and Louise.
We had lots of good photo ops!

Grandma enjoyed being on the beach with the girls…
Frances trying to drink out of a shovel!
Frances and Kamryn are about 11 months apart. They weren’t too sure about each other at first, but then played really well together!
Frances was trying to push the boat out into the water!
It was just as much fun running up and down the hill as it was to play in the water!
Miss Frances…
I asked her if she could smile for me and she said, “NO!”
Little friends sharing popsicles…
The next day, we went over to Strohmaier’s for happy hour. Clancy and Lois are dear friends of my Grandma and Grandpa. They travelled quite a bit together when they were younger.

My Mom and I both said that we love being at the lake when it’s quiet and just us for the peace and relaxation and calmness…but we really love it when there are lots of people around and lots of action – especially with family and friends. We had such a great time with everyone there.

. make a funny face .
We had another family dinner tonight at Mei Lings – a family favorite!! We always make it a point to go when Lisa is in town!
Frances entertained us all with her antics throughout dinner. She knows her colors, animal sounds, can do “cheers” with her juice box, give “knocks”, “rock on”, and this new cheesy face!
Doug was doing it to her as we were trying to take this picture:
We were all cracking up at Frances, the mimic. She is too much!
She and Melissa had a mini dance party in the restaurant. So adorable!
These girls are going to have grown so much by the next time we see them, in August. I’m glad we got to spend so much time together while they’re in WA – but always wish we lived closer. Hopefully one day….soon!
Frances: 23 months
Louise: 4 months
